Master class on biomedical innovation & entrepreneurship
In this 5-day master class, you will learn the tools to start up a biomedical company. During the week you will take the entrepreneurial steps to execute your business idea into a business plan.
You will practice in an interactive way (in groups) how to design a business plan, how to conduct an early-technology assessment, assess the viability of proposed new biomedical ventures and develop a business model with your own innovative idea. You will analyze your relation to the other players and stakeholders in the health care system such as universities, venture capitalists (VC), hospitals, patients and the life sciences industry.
You will learn from biomedical entrepreneurs about the challenges of starting and financing a new company. You will learn the art of pitching your business case to a VC audience. An innovation jury will provide final advice.
