INAUGURAL LECTURE PROF MARIE-JOSÉ GOUMANS

On 1 February 2012, Marie-José Goumans (Principal Researcher BMM project
SMARTCARE) was appointed professor of Molecular Cardiovascular Cell Biology at the Leiden University Medical Center. Her research focuses on cardiovascular regeneration especially the use of (cardiac) stem cells and growth factor signals to repair the injured heart. Her main interest is in the involvement of members of the Transforming Growth Factor β superfamily.
Prof Marie-José Goumans will deliver her inaugural lecture on 2012-11-02 at 16.00 hrs.
